Grupo Vidanta is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a series of activities that will take place throughout the year, beginning with the first annual golf tournament in Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta, its luxury resort located in the Riviera Nayarit.
The tournament will be held May 3rd through 5th at the spectacular Norman Signature Golf Course, the perfect setting for fans of the sport to play 36 holes under the Stroke Play system in six different categories: AA, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies.
The Norman Signature Course offers the finest play available in the sport, with unsurpassed course conditioning and wall-to-wall Paspalum grass. The layout winds along the Ameca River, providing views of the Sierra Madre Mountains from every hole. Large landing areas off the tee give way to undulating greens protected, in typical Norman fashion, by cavernous bunkers.
The organizers announced the tournament is open to the general public and featuring incredible prizes that include airplane tickets, Maui Jim sunglasses, Tissot Swiss watches, Mazda cars, electric golf carts by Club Car, and Huichol Art commemorative trophies.

The deadline to register for the tournament is May 1st with a participation fee of $ 3,800 pesos per player. All categories will be evaluated by a single judge: Vidanta Golf’s professional, the experienced player Jorge Galván, who was champion of the Pro Am stage Mazatlán 2014 of the Golf Professionals Tour of Mexico (PGAM) and was part of the “Top 50 National Ranking” of the Association of Professional Golfers of Mexico in 2014 with just four tournaments played.
