The 6th edition of the most important luxury forum in all of Latin America—LuxuryLab Global 2016—took place last June 13th in Mexico City and was sponsored by the Riviera Nayarit.

“The Riviera Nayarit has positioned itself as the luxury destination par excellence, which is why it’s so important for us to join the digital platforms that have become the most important media by which to attract tourists to our destination, especially those in search of the very best services,” commented Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau.

This year the central theme was Digital Luxury, with topics focusing on new technologies as well as the growth of e-commerce and tourism in Mexico.

During this important event the Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit CVB took advantage of his visit to the nation’s capital in order to give several interviews to the national and international press including The Robb Report, Estilo México, Gratzia, Glitz and Luster.

“This summit is a showcase that segues 100% in with what the Riviera Nayarit represents,” added Murphy. “We received great exposure to many professionals from different luxury markets and segments. This year we were even more involved because the digital era is very fast-paced and we must be up to the challenge.”

The media interest focused on the Destination’s luxury offerings, especially all the new investments in this segment, which will bring in even more high-end hotels for visitors.

Several well-known figures in the luxury arena were present at the event giving presentations on technology, fashion, the industry, travel, lifestyle, trends and any number of topics related to luxury.
