Regional Cuisine Advocates Tourism Promotion

  • The culinary delights of Nayarit and Jalisco are once again making headlines in the country’s top media.

The Gastronomy of the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta has advocated the promotion of tourism to this region of the Mexican Pacific on countless occasions. This time around, it’s the focus of the XXI Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit-Tepic International Gourmet Festival.

This Tuesday, September 8, 2015, Thierry Blouet—one of the “Three Musketeers”—was in Mexico City together with Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), and Agustín Álvarez, Director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust (Fidetur), to present the details of this culinary event, which will take place November 16 – 21 of this year.

The purpose of the conference was to incentivize the National Market to plan their upcoming winter vacations to this tourism region, offering them even more motivation to choose the Destinations.

Thus our Gastronomy is once again the reason why Banderas Bay is being showcased in front of millions of fellow citizens, as happened recently with the conferences for the 7th Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica.
