The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) works to publicize the Destination by finding different outlets to expose the many virtues it embodies. Beyond the news generated by specific activities, there is an implicit result that lives on in perpetuity in the media’s collective memory.
Mexico, the United States and Canada have been the historical Natural Markets for the Riviera Maya, which is why it’s necessary to continuously be news in these countries. Here’s a selection of topics that in 2015 have helped strengthen the Destination’s brand:
First, the United States: Luxury Travel Magazine mentioned the luxury brands that endorse the Riviera Nayarit; the Huffington Post published 10 things to do in Sayulita; Fox News described the safest family beaches, including some in the Riviera Nayarit; and San Blas was a headliner in the Los Angeles Times.
The Destination has also been in the news in Canada. Canadian Travel Press and Canadian World Traveller showcased the diversity of the Destination, while Jetsettersblog.com focused in on its luxury.
The media in Mexico also recommended the Riviera Nayarit. Televisa.com’s Estilo de Vida section highlighted the reasons why you should visit the Riviera Nayarit; Terra TV compiled five unforgettable experiences; Apertura.com—specializing in business and the economy—focused on Punta Mita for being a microdestination that very much appeals to its readers; and both Tuitmagazine and Qhacer.com honed in on the Islas Marietas.
These are but a few examples of all the information on the Riviera Nayarit that is currently circulating in North America. Some of the articles are the result of the Public Relations and Communications departments of the Riviera Nayarit CVB, but others were spurred by the popularity of a Destination that’s at the top of its game.
