TripAdvisor Extends Kudos To Riviera Nayarit Hotels

  • Five of the Destination’s properties are now part of the company’s new GreenLeaders Program; the traditional Certificate of Excellence awarded by travelers was extended to 14 local hotels.

The Riviera Nayarit’s hotel infrastructure is considered among Mexico’s best thanks to its wide variety of services. Most recently, several of the Destination’s properties were included in new eco-friendly GreenLeaders Program created by TripAdvisor, the largest travel site in the world; a number of other properties received the traditional Certificate of Excellence, which is awarded by the travelers themselves.

TripAdvisor has over 340 million unique monthly visitors and over 200 million reviews in 45 countries. Hotels from Nuevo Vallarta, Flamingos, Bucerías, Punta de Mita, Sayulita, Litibú and Rincón de Guayabitos took their rightful place as part of the cream of the crop from among the nearly 5 million properties included and reviewed on the site.

TripAdvisor GreenLeaders

There were five hotels that received the TripAdvisor GreenLeaders certificate: Hard Rock Hotel—Platinum Level, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit—Gold Level, Royal Decameron Complex—Gold Level, Hotelito Los Sueños—Silver Level and Dreams Villamagna—Bronze Level.

The GreenLeaders Program showcases hotels that are committed to green practices including recycling; local and organic food; land, air and water management; and other environmentally friendly topics.

Certificate of Excellence

The Traditional Certificate of Excellence is the best possible indicator of traveler satisfaction, as the guests and their reviews are what determine who receives it. In 2015 there are a total of 14 hotels in the Riviera Nayarit that were awarded this distinction by their guests.

The following hotels are on this prestigious list: Hard Rock Hotel, Occidental Grand, The Grand Luxxe, The Grand Bliss, Riu Palace Pacífico, Villa del Palmar Flamingos, Palladium, Hotel Cinco, Iberostar Playa Mita, La Tranquila, Playa Escondida, Haramara Retreat, Hotelito Los Sueños and Decameron Los Cocos.
