- Approximately 100 professional skydivers from around the world will come together for a unique spectacle: a 13-thousand foot free fall landing on the beaches of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure.
Everything is set for the 2015 Pachanga Beach Boogie, now in its third
year. Organized by SkydiveMex, it will take place in the Riviera
Nayarit—specifically in Nuevo Vallarta—from February 13th through
the 22nd.
“We are expecting the participation of 100 professional skydivers from
all over the world, who will gather here to add more jumps to their scorecards
and compare their skydiving abilities,” commented Diego Orozco, Director of
Skydivemex.
The main objective is to offer yet another recreational option to the inhabitants
of the bay area, as well as to visitors; tandem jumps will be available for
amateurs, who will jump attached to a professional skydiver.
The AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) training course will also be offered
during the event; this is the world standard for skydiving approved by the USPA
(United States Parachute Association) as an introduction to the sport on both
recreational and professional levels.
World champion skydivers are expected to attend from Europe and the
Americas, including Domitile Kiger and Jason Peters, as well as Red Bull
superstars Amy Chmellecki and Jeff Provenzano.
The event will receive ample coverage on national and international
media, which will, in turn, generously promote the Riviera Nayarit. As if this
weren’t enough, the professional skydivers themselves will be circulating the news
far and wide via their own social media accounts.
The 2015 Pachanga Beach Boogie exemplifies one of the many facets of the
Riviera Nayarit, a destination known for its adventure and natural attractions.
