The Riviera Nayarit Is Colombia’s Newest Hotspot
- El Tiempo newspaper and Carrusel magazine have focused on the Riviera Nayarit as the trendiest destination in Mexico to the more than 2 million Colombians who read their publications.
The mid-year public relations actions that the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) embarked on in Colombia has resulted in millions of print impressions.
El Tiempo, a prestigious newspaper and opinion leader in Colombia, has over 1.1 million readers for it print edition, plus more than a million and a half readers on its website.
The paper presented the Riviera Nayarit as the trendiest destination in Mexico and they reviewed some of the best natural attractions, the hotels and the microdestinations: Sayulita, San Pancho, Punta de Mita, Las Islas Marietas and Bucerías.
“Virgin beaches, mountains, golf, surf and villages at the water’s edge, this is the offer for visitors,” read the article in El Tiempo.
Carrusel magazine, owned by Casa Editorial El Tiempo, is focused on the latest fashion and beauty trends, health and wellness, gastronomy, celebrities and lifestyle.
Carrusel visited Mexico’s Pacific Treasure for a photo shoot. “From the pristine beaches of the Riviera Nayarit in Mexico, we present the latest trends in bathing suits: bikinis, bandeaus and one-pieces,” read the layout.
In addition to the reach of El Tiempo, the editorial impressions of Carrusel magazine and their social media accounts will help solidify the presence of the Riviera Nayarit brand in Colombia.
