The Riviera Nayarit’s Growing Luxury and Romance Segments

  • The convention and visitors bureaus of the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta participated in the Tu Boda Expo, which welcomed 16 thousand brides. They also held a seminar for 25 Virtuoso agents and had workshops for over 400 travel agents.

The second week of February of the current year was a very busy one for the convention and visitors bureaus of the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta thanks to their tireless promotion of the Luxury and Romance segments.

The Tu Boda Expo took place in Mexico City from February 14-16, where the attending hotels came in contact with thousands of couples to encourage them to get married or have their honeymoon in the destinations.

Approximately 16 thousand brides-to-be attended the event, strengthening the Romance segment within the national market. 

The team took advantage of their visit to the Mexican capital and put together a seminar for 40 Virtuoso Agents from different companies in order to update this very important segment on the destinations.

From February 10-14, the team also undertook the yearly workshops that are a must to keep our various commercial partners including airlines and wholesalers abreast of the latest news from both destinations.

During these events the travel agents are trained in all the attributes of the destination, its geographical location, the details on each of its micro destination and updates on the existing hotel offerings.

The team held a total of six completed workshops, updating over 400 travel agents.

Through continuous workshops and other actions, the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta offer a better service to wholesalers and airlines, guaranteeing better results in the short, medium and long terms.
