Vidanta invites you to a Night Golf Tournament in Riviera Nayarit

·   El Nayar Golf Club in Nuevo Vallarta will host a spectacular golf tournament at night on October 31 to celebrate the Day of the Dead

In Riviera Nayarit luxury is our nature, and luxury can be best enjoyed in a golf course at night. Grupo Vidanta is organizing its first night golf tournament, “Golf Night Out. Day of the Dead edition” at El Nayar course in Nuevo Vallarta, starting on October 31 at 6:00 pm.
The tournament has already been announced, and will be played on a competitive 9-hole A Go-Go format played by foursomes with a shotgun start. There is a minimum handicap of 60 required to register, and the cost will be $1,500 pesos for club members and $1,850 pesos for the public.
“We want to provide an entirely new experience in the region, because playing golf at night is truly impressive. We want to create a perfect setting and we’re setting up fairways with lighted areas, including greens and flag positions, and even the holes will have integrated LED lighting. Furthermore, the decoration will be related to the traditional Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead”, said Leonardo Bonilla, course manager.
The registration fee includes a welcome dinner and drinks throughout the event, including beverages at the course and the awards ceremony, and the organizers have set a $450 peso fee for attending non-players. To summarize: we’re expecting a big party.
Few activities can be compared with the luxury of practicing your swing at any of the impressive golf courses in the Riviera Nayarit, which has positioned itself as the best golf destination in Mexico and one of the favorites of golfers worldwide. The key to its success lies in the combination of the magnificent mountain scenery, tropical forest and beach, paried with the design of prominent personalities such as Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Jim Lipe, Robert Von Hagge & Baril, and Percy Clifford.
“When one thinks of golf in Mexico, one may think of other destinations that have been promoting this sport for a longer time, but we believe that Riviera Nayarit is the up-and-coming golf destination in the world”, said recently Ted Simons, Executive Vice President of the Jack Nicklaus Academy, which recently opened at this very course.
