In Riviera Nayarit luxury is our nature, and this nature is the backdrop for the seven golf courses in our destination that have been endorsed by the Mexican Golf Federation. These have attracted the most important course designers around the world, and therefore the Flamingos Golf Course is being upgraded.
“We’re extending all the par-3 tee boxes, in order to provide a much better experience for our players. Additionally, we’re completely upgrading the 2nd hole”, said Claudi Staines, course manager.
Players with different skill levels enjoy the Flamingos golf course, as it’s moderately difficult and has a mature design. Also, it sets itself apart from other local courses by having hills, abundant tropical flora, lagoons and mangroves, while this natural scenery will delight nature lovers. Flamingos was built in 1970 and has been the cornerstone of the touristic development in Nuevo Vallarta.
Mexican players can enjoy special rates by showing their club credentials, and can enjoy morning rounds at $850 pesos, and twilight rounds at $40 USD after 3:30 PM, until October 31.

The key of its success has been the combination of spending landscapes, tropical forests and beaches, together with the design of acclaimed professionals like Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Jim Lipe, Robert Von Hagge & Baril, and Percy Clifford.
“When one thinks of golf in Mexico, one may think of other destinations that have been promoting this sport for a longer time, but we believe that Riviera Nayarit is the up-and-coming golf destination in the world”, said recently Ted Simons, Executive Vice President of the Jack Nicklaus
