RCI’s
Endless Vacation magazine will dedicate 8 to 10 pages to Riviera Nayarit in its
Fall issue
In Riviera Nayarit luxury is our nature,
and this nature got the attention of Endless Magazine, which is published by Grupo
Editorial Televisa for RCI, the largest timeshare vacation exchange network in
the world.
Endless Vacation is a
periodical publication with a circulation of 55,000 copies, and it also reaches
1.25 million RCI members through its e-newsletter. Through these platforms, it
aims to provide reliable information to its members and to help them choose
their next vacation exchange.
After its visit to
Riviera Nayarit, between July 30 and August 3, the magazine will produce a
comprehensive report of 8 to 10 pages, which will be published in its Fall
(September-November) issue, highlighting the attractions of this destination.
The magazine learned
about the diversity of hotels in Nuevo Vallarta, as well as the small and
sophisticated accommodation centers offering yoga and surf north of Bahia de
Banderas, and the different golf options in our destination, our gastronomy,
and the adventures that can be enjoyed in the Mexico’s Pacific Treasure.
The Convention and
Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit is a civil association dedicated to
promoting the destination, working closely with all sectors of society and
government in order to position Riviera Nayarit as an independent destination,
with great attractions, spectacular landscapes and high-quality services.
One of the strategies used
by the CVB is to attract the attention of the media through PR efforts like this
one with Endless Vacation, in order to achieve the greatest possible exposure
with the lowest cost, achieving a greater influx of tourists to the
destination.
In 2011, the PR department made 34 familiarization trips,
involving 90 journalists. Derived from these trips, and without having to pay
for it, these journalists wrote articles for international publications, which
generated 290,104,103 media impacts to date, while the national media created
263,238,851 media impacts. Additionally, we’re expecting to improve these
numbers in 2012.
