The official tour page of the Green Bay Packers reads: “We just came back from Mexico and it was a blast! Players and fans enjoyed the sun at Riviera Nayarit”. On March 4 to 11, five of the best players in the team that almost went undefeated during the last season visited the destination known as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure, together with a group of fans.
Jarius Wynn, John Huhn, Antonio Freeman, William Henderson, Morgan Burnett and Jerimichael Finley swam with dolphins, enjoyed the sunset on a sailboat, played golf, and even experienced the thrill of soaring through the canopy on a zip-line, together with their fans. They also had a Q&A session, where they offered autographs, posed for photos, and even competed with their fans at “beach Olympics”.
Green Bay fullback player John Kuhn and his wife Lindsey wrote a thank-you note to the organizers, saying that they had had an incredible experience at Marival Residences: “Thank you for having us here in Mexico. We enjoyed it tremendously, made new friends, and had a blast. It’s clear why so many of our fans choose to make this trip every year, and we were really excited to be part of it this 2012. Thank you so much!”
