Riviera Nayarit will promote the magic of Nayarit at Fitur

Riviera Nayaritwill show why luxury is our nature at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) in Madrid, which will take place on January 18 – 22, and will assemble over 100,000 professionals of the touristic industry in an international level.
This year, Nayarit will once again join Mexico’s Pavilion, and artists Mariano and Cilau Valadez, will share the Huichol culture and the handcrafts of our State.
The Tourism Secretary of Nayarit, Raúl Rodrigo Pérez Hernández will attend the 32nd edition of Fitur, and will be at the opening of the Mexican Pavilion and at the awards ceremony of the Premio Excelencias, which was granted to our State by the Excelencias editorial group for co-hosting the Tianguis Turístico 2012 with Jalisco.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit will offer a presentation on the key touristic features in Nayarit to call center representatives of the Mexican Council for the Promotion of Tourism (CPTM) in Madrid, who sell and promote vacation packages to Mexico.
Riviera Nayarit’s CVB will join the Tourism Secretary, and together they’ll hold business meetings with wholesalers, tour operators and airlines, seeking to increment the number of tourists coming to our destination.
The CVB of Riviera Nayarit, a civil non-profit association dedicated to promoting tourism is continuing its efforts to create new alternatives that will allow us to position or destination in markets that have proved to be important for the development of tourism in Mexico. At the same time, we’re consolidating strategies to attract tourists to Nayarit, allowing for the integral development of the State, to benefit the People.
Fitur in Madrid constitutes the most important business platform for tourism in Latin America. In 2011, the event assembled over 119,661 industry professionals and had over 57,000 exhibitors, and 209,000 people attended the event looking for information for their next vacation.
