Riviera Nayarit launches special rates for Tianguis’ attendees

  • Several hotels in Mexico’s Pacific Treasure will offer reduced prices for participants at the largest event of the touristic industry in Mexico in 2012

In Riviera Nayarit luxury means surprises, and hotels in our destination are offering special discounts for all participants at the Tianguis Turístico 2012, which Riviera Nayarit will be co-hosting with Puerto Vallarta.
The special rates and requirements that have been defined by hotels in Riviera Nayarit are already available in Riviera Nayarit’s micro site for the Tianguis Turístico (http://tianguisturisticomexico.com/english.php?s=special-rates  ).
All published rates are well below any other rate offered by these hotels, and are even lower than the ones offered to the largest wholesalers. By doing this, we’re seeking to attract a larger participation of professionals in the touristic industry.
“Our initial goal has been to attract 50% more participants, following the directions provided by the Secretary of Tourism, Gloria Guevara Manzo. In Riviera Nayarit we’d like to ratify our commitment to this objective, and we’re planning to offer the lowest possible rates. This Tianguis belongs to all of Mexico, and we want it to be the best one yet, so having many participants is very important”, said Fernando González Ortega, president of the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit.
The micro site will offer information on each one of the offers promoted by the hotels, as well as the requirements and contact information to make reservations. There’s also information on available transportation to and from the International Conventions Center in Puerto Vallarta, as well as discounts on tours and on the many events that will be taking place in Riviera Nayarit.

“The CVB of Riviera Nayarit wants to help make this Tianguis an unforgettable experience, and this is our way of allowing visitors to enjoy not only an efficient business platform, but also to experience a vacation in Mexico’s Pacific Treasure, after which they’ll become ambassadors of Mexico, Bahía de Banderas, and of Nayarit”, concluded González Ortega.
