Riviera Nayarit has a new online image
- Mexico’s Pacific Treasure has revamped its websites to adapt them to new technologies and to link them with social networks and reservation systems
The destination known as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure now has a new image for its website as part of the objective of increasing the online access to information of tourist attractions in Riviera Nayarit.
Some of the improvements include a friendlier design that allows for a better interaction and navigation, placing all the available information on Riviera Nayarit only “a few clicks away”.
The website is now linked more efficiently with social networks, and many of its features are compatible with mobile devices, allowing for a more dynamic experience using multimedia resources, and offering access to online reservation systems.
This upgrade is the result of a study made by the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit, which indicates that the Internet represents an expanding influence on travel decisions for international travelers, and has already become fastest-growing source of hotel reservations.
The latest studies made by the CVB indicate that 41% of all visitors make their travel reservations online. Another 9% base their decision on the information available online, while only 2% base it on information they get from printed media, and 1% from magazines.
The novel online proposal has been available since last March at www.RivieraNayarit.com and in Spanish since the last week of July at www.RivieraNayarit.com.mx
