15 Riviera Nayarit restaurants will participate at the IGF

  • The participation of the destination known as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure at the Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit International Gourmet Festival continues to grow

In Riviera Nayarit, luxury means taste. This year, 15 restaurants located in our destination will participate at the prestigious International Gourmet Festival Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit (IGF), which will take place on November 10 to 20, promising new sensations for all participants.
Emiliano in Tepic, Frascati in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Porto BelloBistro & Lounge, Nicksan and Santa Marea in Nuevo Vallarta, El Delfín of Hotel Garza Canela in San Blas, El Patio at Dreams Villamagna, Epazote at Grand Luxxe, La Casona at Villa La Estancia, Sea Breeze at St Regis, Frida at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Café des Artistes del Mar at Hotel des Artistes, La Tranquila Gourmet Cuisine and Omaggio and Insu at Marival Residences will be Riviera Nayarit’s participants at this event.
Thierry Blouet, Heinz Reize and Roland Menetrey, founders of the Festival and icons of the local culinary scene explained that just like every year, this great event will include the participation of chefs from around the world, who will be able to exchange ideas with local chefs, while visitors enjoy their creations and even get a sneak peek of their cooking secrets.
The IGF will incorporate new ideas to the original concept and will rescue regional culinary traditions; it’ll feature an opening event in downtown Puerto Vallarta, a culinary symposium with the gastronomy students of the Universidad Tecnologica de Bahia de Banderas and a Celebrity Chef’s Night at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, where eight chefs will prepare wonderful dishes for a magical dinner paired with live music.
With events of this scale and exclusivity, Riviera Nayarit is attesting its position as a leading destination for culinary arts, a major touristic asset for this region where an increasing number of high-end restaurants are being established – some of which have received the Five Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
