For those of you who didn’t already hear the exciting news, JaltembaBayLife.com has added a weather station to its repertoire… and just in time for the rains and hurricane season!

What does this mean? It means that we now have access to up-to-the-minute weather conditions right here in Jaltemba Bay.

How does the station work? The weather station continuously collects weather data and uploads it every 5 minutes to the “Official Jaltemba Bay Weather Page” on JaltembaBayLife.com

Who can view it? It is free for everyone, and is available online 24/7.

How do I access the weather data? On the right hand side of the JaltembaBayLife.com site, you will see the new weather button. If you want more than the temperature, click the current conditions tab and you will be redirected to the “Official Jaltemba Bay Weather Page” where you can view the following information:

• Current Temperature
• Today’s High and Low Temperature
• Humidity (High and Low)
• Heat Index (High and Low)
• Dew Point (High and Low
• Barometric Pressure (High and Low)
• Barometric Trend
• Time of Sunrise and Sunset
• 12 Hour Forecast
• Rain Rate per Hour
• Rain Accumulation for Today, Month, Year, and Storm Totals

We are guessing that this will be of particular interest to those of you who are north of the border during the summer months, as it will allow you to see what the weather is like from afar, check to see how much rain has accumulated, and watch the wind speed and gusts during a storm or hurricane — and for those of you are planning your vacation to the area.
