The Riviera Nayarit Tour arrives in the southern United States

  • Over 100 travel agents received training on the region’s attractions, services, and infrastructure as part of the strategy for Joint Promotion.

The promotional tour headed out to the cities of Houston and Dallas in Texas on March 27th and 28th with the goal of reinforcing the presence of the Riviera Nayarit in that area. Over 100 travel agents received training during those two days.

The Tour was part of the strategy for Joint Promotion carried out by the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust (Fidetur) via their Sales and Marketing offices and with excellent results.

Both offices headed two training seminars and trade shows with additional participation of 16 hotels from both destinations. Hotels representing the Riviera Nayarit included the Hard Rock Hotel, Occidental Nuevo Vallarta, Paradise Village, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Decameron, Riu and Villagroup. Wholesalers Funjet Vacations (ALG Group) and Pleasant Holidays were also present, as was Aeroméxico airlines.

The travel agents were very interested in the natural attractions, the hotel infrastructure, and the services offered by the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta. According to their own comments, the agents have seen an important spike in sales of both destinations, something worth noting as it confirms the promotional work done by the CVB and Fidetur together with their hotel and business partners is yielding excellent results.

Intensive positioning for the Riviera Nayarit in Texas.
