nominees from Mexico’s Pacific Treasure; the voting closes on August 31, 2018.
The Riviera Nayarit’s attractions, events, hotels, and gastronomy have been nominated once again to be part of Los 100 Imperdibles de México (Mexico’s 100 Musts), a list created by the Discovery Quest National Tourism Guide in collaboration with VisitMexico.
The main objective of Los 100 Imperdibles de México is to generate a guide of the country’s very best experiences for visitors and tourists while helping to preserve its riches and heritage as one of the world’s top tourism destinations.
According to the official site: “A ‘must’ is not just a recommendation, it’s a reminder to preserve the best of our country.”
The categories for nominating a “must” include: Hotels and Accommodations, Moments and Events, Gastronomy, Historical Places, Entertainment, Artists and Artisans, and What’s New.
Vote for the Riviera Nayarit!
The Riviera Nayarit has been nominated in several categories, but especially within Hotels and Accommodations with gorgeous properties including Imanta Resorts Punta de Mita, Vallarta Gardens, Marival Residences, Paradise Village, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Cielo Rojo, The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, and Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, among others.
The Sayulita Festival, Wind Festival, Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf, the International Gourmet Festival, and the Punta Mita Beach Festival were all nominated in the Moments and Events category.
The Islas Marietas, La Tovara in San Blas, the Bucerías Art Walk, Sayulita’s Rancho Mi Chaparrita, and Humpback Whale Watching were included in the Attractions category, while Nicksan and Luna Lounge restaurants were nominated in the Gastronomy category.

The winners will be announced between September and October 2018.
The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Bahía de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB) reaffirm their commitment to the strategic promotion of the destination, pursuing areas of opportunity and consolidating new markets to increase the number of incoming tourists, together with the support of the Government of the State of Nayarit via the Tourism Promotion Trust (Fiprotur).
