All Eyes Are On The Riviera Nayarit

  • Internet sites in Mexico, the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Brazil, Poland, Norway and even China are writing about Mexico’s Pacific Treasure.

The Riviera Nayarit is on a roll as it continues to position itself on an international level, with interest from the international media on the increase. Keep reading for look at the latest news from the Americas, Europe and Asia.

“Consistency and perseverance are the key to success,” commented Marc Murphy, the Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Some people may not know the destination, some may know part of it, but it’s always important to continue to show what we have to offer, which is quite a bit.”

Western Living, the largest magazine in Canada with a distribution of over 143 thousand issues, recommended the top five places to go to escape the cold weather and the Riviera Nayarit was among them.

Make It Better, published in the United States, added an article where it recommended travelers visit the Riviera Nayarit instead of Cancun; they also placed the Riviera Nayarit among the top seven places in the world to see in 2016.

The UK’s The Guardian created a list of the best budget-friendly hotels on the Pacific Coast, showcasing Rincón de Guayabitos and San Blas.

Argentina’s Ámbito stated the Riviera Nayarit is one of the 10 best beach destinations in Mexico. In Brazil, Viaja, bi! added the Riviera Nayarit—the only destination in Mexico—to their top seven list of gay friendly destinations for 2016.

In China the media is recommending a visit to the Riviera Nayarit to view the humpback whales. In Poland they were full of praise for Mexico’s Pacific Treasure.


And in Mexico there are countless articles published about the Riviera Nayarit. E! Online México defines the destination as the country’s Top Pick. In the México Destinos blog they included a hotel in Chacala as a place you must visit at least once in your life. In the blog 101 Viajes Increíbles their post lists the Islas Marietas as one of the 20 natural marvels in Mexico. The inflight magazine for Volaris published a special section just on the Riviera Nayarit. The magazine Mujer recommended the destination for a romantic getaway.
