Uruguay And Argentina Welcomed The Joint Promotional Campaign

  • The Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta trained 30 reservations agents in the RCI call center in Uruguay and participated in the FIT América Latina in Argentina, where they assisted over 10 thousand travel agents and end consumers.

The Joint Promotional Campaign activities currently being executed abroad by the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta made their way to Uruguay and Argentina as September reached its end.

“The trip to Uruguay was very beneficial, as RCI is among the world leaders in vacation exchanges and we have several hotels that manage time shares. Argentina was doubly beneficial for both destinations, because we participated in a fair attended by tourism from around the world in search of business,” explained Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Office.

As happens every year, the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta trained the personnel at the RCI call center in Uruguay; there were a total of 30 reservations agents who received updates.

RCI is connected to four thousand affiliated developments in 100 countries and has specialized for the past 40 years in the innovation of timeshare services.

The Feria Internacional de Turismo de América Latina in Argentina, or FIT, took place from September 26-29, 2015. This event had over 10 thousand attendees between travel agents and end consumers.

Led by the Mexico Tourism Board, the Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta attended the fair as part of their exploratory plan into South America’s Emerging Markets.


“We’re sure that the Argentine market will increase rapidly to our destinations because of the nature of their travel preferences,” assured Murphy.
