This cultural festival, which revolves around capoeira, the Brazilian martial arts discipline, returns to San Pancho from March 27-29. There will be workshops, batizado ceremonies, rodas and all sorts of events related to this culture on display in the Cultural Capital of the Riviera Nayarit.

The event is organized by Abada Capoeira Nayarit in order to welcome new members and change the cords of the already batizado alumni (batizado literally means baptized). There are approximately 40 alumni in the Nayarit school and there will be about 60 more capoeirstas attending the event from around Mexico.

Instructors from Brazil and California will also be present to share their knowledge. The presentations and ceremonies will take place at the Bodega Teatros, Entre Amigos, the Plaza del Sol and the gymnasium in San Pancho.
