Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta will attract the Texan market by briefing travel agents on the benefits, activities and competitive advantages of visiting this region. Also, travel agents will be informed and encouraged to sell packages to this region during the summer, when high temperatures make Texans flee to vacation destinations around the world.
“It’s important to introduce the news and advantages of visiting Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta among the Texan market, as it guarantees that we’ll receive visitors from that region during a season when travel from other locations in the United States and Canada is reduced considerably. Last April we participated in Funjet’s Trade Shows, the largest wholesaler in this market, and now we’re seeking a more direct exposure together with Puerto Vallarta”, said Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the CVB of Riviera Nayarit.
This new combined marketing strategy seeks to increase the number of Texan tourists during the summer and includes visiting travel agents directly, as well as offering seminars where we’ll introduce the competitive advantages of traveling to a region that offers two complementary destinations in one single trip.
The CVB of Riviera Nayarit is a non-profit association that works under the direction of the Association of Hotels and Motels of Bahia de Banderas to promote our destination. Through proven results, we’re promoting tourism and working to improve the economy of all the people of Nayarit, following the direction set by the Governor for the People, Roberto Sandoval.
