Riviera Nayarit is being promoted through its gastronomy

•    The local cuisine of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure has become an important marketing asset during the CVB’s work tours
•    The menu introduced by Betty Vázquez at the New York road show will be featured for 3 months at Pámpano restaurant, and the chef will also participate in the “Flavors of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure” festival at the renowned Savoi hotel in Buenos Aires


In Riviera Nayarit luxury is our flavor, and the gastronomy of the coast of Nayarit has become an important marketing asset for our destination, and is being featured in the international strategies that are taking place.

On October 15 and 16, chef Betty Vázquez from El Delfín restaurant at Hotel Garza Canela in San Blas offered a dinner in New York to showcase the extraordinary gastronomy that sets Riviera Nayarit apart, to professionals of the touristic industry, as well as a lunch for press members.

The dishes designed jointly by this chef and by the team of Pámpano restaurant, property of Richard Sandoval in New York, will remain on the menu as part of the festival “Sea to Table: Riviera Nayarit”, until the end of December, so the gastronomy of our region will be promoted continuously in the Big Apple.

The promotional efforts made by Betty Vazquez will continue in the upcoming work tour of the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit. The chef will participate in tasting events scheduled in Brazil, Chile and Argentina, and will present the festival “Flavors of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure” at the prestigious Savoy Hotel in Buenos Aires, on November 3 – 9.

The CVB of Riviera Nayarit is a non-profit organization that works under the direction of the Hotel and Motel Association of Bahía de Banderas in order to promote the entire Riviera Nayarit. Through efforts like this one, we’re promoting tourist activity and fostering the harmonious development of all the people in Nayarit.
