- Mexorc races will be back in Mexico’s Pacific Tresure, March 11th-17th, during Regatta Copa México
The largest and most powerful boats in the world will be in Riviera Nayarit competing over the course of seven days, March 11th- 17th . The Mexorc class, with more than five categories, will be the most spectacular class in the Regatta Copa Mexico Olimpyc Edition.
Competitions will be held at the Marina Riviera Nayarit at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, from where the vessels will depart to the racing circuits on the water. 25 ships from over 10 countries will be participating on this clas alone.
Oceanic Sailboats have the entire infrastructure needed to live on board and, as they're propelled by the wind, they have unlimited autonomy, allowing them to navigate across the globe.
Their sailing capacity provides great power, while cuising in the water at high speed the look is absolutely majestic, specially during a competition like Regatta Copa Mexico.
The thrill will begin on March 11, when the President Cup will be disputed over 25 nautical miles. The following days will offer four adrenaline-filled races of windward-leeward, in eight nautical mile circuits; as well as the Copa de Oro, a 10 nautical mile race, and a 25 nautical mile race to the Marietta Islands, and a more competitive and longer regatta that is yet to be defined.
