  • The prestigious Nupcias magazine tweeted its favorite five destinations in Mexico for honeymoons in 2012. Mexico’s Pacific Treasure was 4th in the general ranking and 2nd among beach destinations

In Riviera Nayarit luxury means romance. This is the reason why Nupcias magazine has chosen us as one of their favorite five destinations for honeymoons in 2012, as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure and its wonderful landscapes inspires the best love stories and is the backdrop to the best weddings.

Last January 5, the prestigious publication shared with its readers its five favorite destinations for honeymoons in 2012. Riviera Nayarit took the 4th general place, and the 2nd place among beach destinations.

Nupcias is one of the most important magazines for brides in Mexico. This bimonthly publication covers important topics for couples that are about to get married, like fashion, beauty, family, and the best destinations for weddings, honeymoons and romantic escapes.

This magazine, published by Air Impressions Publishing Group, has a circulation of 35,000 copies and reaches an audience of approximately 105,000 readers, making it one of the most influential publications in this segment.

In August 2010, its editors chose Riviera Nayarit for a photo shoot with couture designs by Mexican designer Arturo Ramos. Since then, Nupcias has toured our destination to find the most intimate places for an especially romantic honeymoon.

Through efforts in public relations like the support provided in 2010 to this publication for its photo shoot, the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit is promoting tourism in this destination and throughout the entire state of Nayarit, and this has become evident in the listing that was recently published by Nupcias.

The Riviera Nayarit CVB is a civil non-profit association dedicated to promoting tourism through a brand that includes the entire coast of Nayarit, from its border with Jalisco in Nuevo Vallarta to Novillero, at its northern border with Sinaloa, while integrating the historical and cultural attractions available in the rest of the municipalities.

A recent analysis made by the Center for the Study of Tourism of the Federal Ministry of Tourism catalogued Riviera Nayarit as one of the twelve destinations in Mexico with the greatest potential for the romantic travel segment, which has a high rate of U.S. visitors because 17% of couples in the United States choose Mexico for their honeymoon.
