Acir’s Tournament of Stars will take place in Riviera Nayarit

  • This nationwide radio network chose Mexico’s Pacific Treasure as the venue to celebrate their 11th annual golf tournament
In Riviera Nayarit, luxury is our passion, and we’re sharing it with Grupo Acir and with golf aficionados. This is why the destination known as Mexico’s Pacific Treasure was chosen by this countrywide network as the venue for the 11th Tournament of Stars, an annual golf tournament that will take place on October 21 and 22.

50 players will compete at the golf courses Bahía and Pacífico designed by Jack Nicklaus and located inside the exclusive Punta Mita complex. Competitors will include Acir’s owners, managers, key executives and commercial partners.

However, golf will not be the only attraction to the Tournament of Stars; participants to the event will also enjoy the spectacular high-end infrastructure around the enviable natural settings of the St. Regis Punta Mita, the hosting hotel for this event.

Riviera Nayarit is one of the most important destinations for golf enthusiasts, not only because of the large number of available courses, but also for the quality and challenges that these pose. There are six golf courses currently open, and another three are under development.

Riviera Nayarit also enjoys an ideal weather all year round, amazing ocean views, bays and coves, a backdrop of tropical forests and steep mountains, as well as an array of scenarios that are ready to become fairways and greens, with different levels of difficulty and exceptional beauty.

Since the creation of the Riviera Nayarit brand, attracting high-quality tourism with a low environmental impact has been one of the key priorities for the industry. Sports are a key niche to achieve this goal, as they attract people who are strongly focused on achieving goals, and who also have purchasing power and a well developed environmental culture. These are the reasons why the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit supports tournaments like this one.
