The Tiger roars at Riviera Nayarit

Nine years roaring and it keeps surprising us. El Tigre Golf & Country Club at Paradise Village in Riviera Nayarit is getting ready to celebrate its ninth anniversary with a tournament that has become traditional in the region.

On May 13, amateur golfers from Mexico, the United States and Canada will try to tame this course, which has proved to be challenging for professional golfers in tournaments as important as the Canadian Tour and the Futures Tour, both in the male and female categories.

In 2008, El Tigre was catalogued as one of the best 10 in the country, and is one of the six golf courses in Riviera Nayarit, a destination that has become one of the best worldwide for this sport and which currently has 3 more courses under development.

This course, property of Grupo Paradise Village has also hosted tournaments as important as the Copa de las Americas and the Gira Negra Modelo, besides the Canadian Tour and the LPGA Futures Tour.

Golf-based tourism keeps growing Riviera Nayarit, and this is one of the most important market segments due to the economic downpour that it generates for different touristic businesses. Therefore the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit is promoting this event, and also congratulates Grupo Paradise Village for having initiatives as important as this one.
